Put Me On, Breaking Barriers for Underserved Talent
The next generation of leaders is being left behind, not because they lack talent, but because they lack access. We are actively removing financial, structural, and visibility barriers keeping underserved students from breaking into STEM careers.
Where Access Begins With Awareness
Why This Matters Now More Than Ever
1
DEI Funding Is Under Attack
With political backlash, DEI programs are being defunded, leaving underserved students more vulnerable. We need self-sustaining, results-driven initiatives now.
2
Innovation Is Suffering
Game-changing innovations will come from students who never had resources but possess raw talent. Put Me On ensures they get a seat at the table.
3
LinkedIn's Missing Piece
STEM funding and research opportunities exist but are rarely shared on LinkedIn. We're making research opportunities as visible as job postings.
Charting NSF Funding: Historical appropriations vs. future scenarios
Historical data sourced directly from the National Science Foundation establishes the historical funding baseline. Using a linear regression model, we extend this trend to project future funding—and overlay widely reported 25% and 50% cut scenarios.
Put Me On Fellowship (PMOF)
The Problem
Brilliant, driven students, especially those from underserved backgrounds, are being shut out of undergraduate, graduate programs, and professional certifications simply because they can’t afford the application fees. These one-time costs pile up fast and block access to life-changing opportunities.
Our Solution
The Put Me On Fellowship (PMOF) creates a community-funded support pool that directly pays for application fees. We sponsor high-potential students with:
  • Three application fee waivers
  • 1-on-1 mentorship
  • Personalized application support
  • Exclusive resources and a surprise gift 🎁
We make sure that financial stress is never the reason a student doesn’t apply.
Why It's Different
Most DEI programs offer advice, we go further.
PMOFF directly eliminates financial barriers
Putting cash on the table and students in the rooms where decisions are made. Every dollar unlocks access, equity, and real seats at the table.
We’re not just talking about change, we’re funding it.
Who's Eligible to Apply?
To be considered for the Put Me On Fellowship (PMOF), you must:
  • Be applying to undergraduate or graduate programs in the U.S, and begin in the 2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR.
  • Be a first-time applicant or reapplying without major institutional support
  • Identify as a historically excluded, underserved, or low-income student
  • Be a domestic or international student with financial need
  • Be committed to education equity and passionate about helping others
  • Have internet access and be able to participate virtually in PMOF programming
PMOF Application Is Live!
Deadline: 1/6/2025

How Put Me On Is Breaking the Cycle
Beyond Mentorship
Most DEI programs stop at mentorship, offering advice but not removing actual barriers keeping underserved students out of STEM.
Barrier Elimination
We eliminate hidden costs, fix rejections, create real-time data, and give instant experience so students can break into elite programs regardless of financial background.
Bridging Local Talent to Global Impact
We are expanding access for international students and underserved talent to become the next generation of STEM leaders. Let’s discuss how we can collaborate to make this a reality.
